Kristen's Story
Life
After High school I attended Brockport college and after 2 years there I transferred to Nazareth College in Rochester. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Science, which is weird, because I hate science. My degree was speech language pathology with a minor in mathematics. I got married that summer, 1998. In August of 1998, I started my Master's Degree at Fredonia college. My husband, Brian, and I moved there right after returning from our honeymoon. I don't recommend that! I finished my Master's in Science in August 1999. My degree was in audiology. We then moved back to Rochester, where we have lived for the past 9 years. After I graduated with my Master's Degree, I started working for a United Way clinic, Rochester Hearing and Speech Center. In 2002, we bought a house in a suburb called Chili...not the food. n James Murray arrived in February, 2003. Once I went back to work, I decided to go back three days a week. I love being home with my children, but I could never be a stay-at-home mother. Hats off to those who can do it, but it isn't for me. I like the part-time deal. In February 2006, our daughter Rhyan Elizabeth Murray came. Again I am working part-time. I am officially a soccer mother as I have recently purchased a mini-van (aka-goober mobile) and my son is playing soccer in the chili soccer league. I still attend a lot of Lowville school functions, although they have decreased since my brother Steven graduated in 2007. I try and get up there at least once a month if not more. I have tried to keep in contact with a lot of my old friends from school. I still hear a lot of gossip from those who still live there.
