Kristen (Kristopher) Provost - Lincoln
The last 20 years have been very eventful for me. I have two sons, Greysen born in 1997 and Aidan was born on my birthday, Jan. 7, 2003. My Daughter Elliette Nicole (Ellie)was born in September of 2001 and lived with a severe heart condition until May of 2003..
I have been living mostly out west, Nevada and Colorado. I graduated from the University of Nevada in 1992 and worked in the Design field. I later became interested in the Spa industry, focusing on skin and body work and attended the Aveda Institute for Esthetics. I met & married my husband in Colorado while living in Vail, CO. In 2000 we began spending our summers on Nantucket where my husband was employed as an Executive Chef and winters in Colorado where I worked as an Esthetician and skiied and rode my horse as much as possible. Ellie was born while we were living on Nantucket. She was immediately diagnosed as terminal and our life changed forever. ital. After a 12 hour heart surgery and over a month in the ICU, Ellie lost her fight. She was an amazing soul and I am blessed to have had her in my life.
Since that time, we left Baltimore (thank God!!) and went back to Nantucket. In the fall of 2004 my husband was offered a job with one of the top chef's in the country and so off to Vegas it was...a year later it felt like our prision sentence was up (and so was his contract) so we came home to Colorado... Here we have horses, chickens, goats and 4 dogs. I have a wonderful life and am very apprecitive for my helthy children. My kids both ski and ride horses, we still travel but its nice to be at home...finally! My husband and I have been focusing on retreats ( a cooking school) in Lucca, Italy. We have upcoming classes in June and again in September. We take both of our children with us when we go and do the best to appreciate life as it happens, for better or worse. I look forward to finding my way back to NC someday to attend at least one class reunion while I still have all my teeth! lol
