Life I grew up in a small town in Ohio in the 1950s/60s, the best of times. As a girl I enjoyed riding horses, swimming,and playing hide-and-go-seek in the summer,sledding and ice-skating in the park in the winter. As teenagers we ate at Don's famous hamburgers after school and cruised Main Street and Shively's Drive-In in the evenings, and roller skating and riding the rides at Sandy Beach Park at Indian Lake.. I've had great times with interesting people and few regrets. School School was hard in the 1950s and early 60s. No frills and no excuses! The most fun I had was being a majorette in the highschool band. College A big transition during my college years from the kind of protected girls school atmosphere at St. Mary's College in Raleigh, NC to the Vietnam/social change era at Ohio State in the late 1960s. I was an art major and in a sorority. Two different lifestyles. I was preppy hippy! Workplace I lived and worked in several different states.
