Kristin's Story

Life Currently living in England after spending a few years in Dublin, Ireland where I met my husband. We have two beautiful children and I am loving living in rural Shropshire as a stay at home mum! Thinking about returning to the US in the not so distant future, but I have to convince hubby that life is better across the pond. He's not yet convinced - but neither am I really. Decided to go back to school and I'm thinking of becoming a adult and getting a career sometime soon, but I'm not rushing things - ...Expand for more
I'm only 35, I'm still a kid! Sure, there's loads of time to do all that later, right now I'm all into bubbles, sand boxes, ball pits and Lightning McQueen, In the Night Garden and Teletubbies. Planning on listing parenting as my most difficult challenge to date when I update the CV, but as the kids are only 3 and 1 I've been told that the hardest part still lies ahead - when they turn into teenagers! We were never that bad, were we??? Haha ha. Hope you all are having as much fun in this life as I am! xxKris.

This year I shall mostly be using my new sewing machine!!!! In love!!
Fully lined and with a velcro closure (hook and eye for those legal eagles!).
Made one each for the girls for holiday - cross body with cupcake appliques taken from old babygrows of Alice's!
Backed by the leg of an old pair of jeans - make the whole thing a bit more sturdy.
At first the flags were adhered, but after Alice picked them all off I decided to sew them on just at the top to have them flapping freely like real bunting.
