Kristina's Story
2008: I'm finishing the PhD in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am the McColl Dissertation Fellow with the Center for the Study of the American South. I am also managing editor of the Southern Literary Journal but I am giving that up in the spring to focus on my writing. Scary!

ish in 1999. From there (I was tired, y'all) I went to work in antitrust litigation at Arnold and Porter, LLP in Washington, soon switching to environmental law. After 3 years I decided to come to Chapel Hill in 2002 for a master's in English, earning it in 2005, and stayed for the doctorate, which I am hoping to receive in 2009.
From there...who knows? I may just chuck it all and move to Buenos Aires or something.
