Life
Hello-
If you are reading this, you must be interested in what I've done since high school. Here it goes...
I did a year at Mendo College. Woo hoo.
I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years and I went to boot camp (one of the hardest things in my life) at Parris Island, SC. I was stationed at Cherry Point, NC for 2 years then went to Iwakuni, Japan for 1 1/2 years and that is where I met my husband- Eric.
We both got out of the Marine Corps, got married in Ukiah and moved to West Union, OH (that is where Eric is from). We were living in Cincinnati for 6 months but we thought it was a good idea for Eric to go back into the Marine Corps so he did. During the year we lived in Ohio I got pregnant. Eric got orders to Camp Pendleton, CA and we lived there for 3 1/2 years.
During that time Eric went on 3 deployments (2 to Iraq) while I stayed home praying that no bad news would come. My prayers were answered and we decided that recruiting would be the way to go. Boy were we wrong.
So now Eric is a recruiter and we are in Cleveland, OH. We've been here for 3 years and things are hectic. But that's life and now you know my life. I definately haven't been bored. It's a military life and it's hard but exciting and adventurous. I don't think I could have done the military spouse thing if I didn't experience being an active duty Marine first.
