Kristine's Story
After high school I attended college in PA. I obtained a bachelors degree in special education. I then moved to Rhode Island. My teaching career began with at-risk teenagers in a private not for profit school in Brockton. I taught at a few other schools, always working with at-risk youth (special education). I was a catalyst for a psycho-educational program at a RI high school, which I ran until 2005.

egree in education in 2002, the year my son was born. I had married the year before.
In 2005, we relocated to North Carolina. I now teach exceptional children at an inner city high school.
My son is the polar opposite of my professional background. He is a gifted child attending a magnet school for talent development.
I plan to utilize my master's degree by seek an administrative position once my son reaches adulthood.
