Kristine's Story

I am married to a wonderful man, John Antillon. We met 8 years ago and have been married for 2. We own a house close to my place of employement, Saint Francis Medical Center where I am an RN. Together we have 5 kids, Kiara, Ashley, Elijah, Zane and Hans. Kiara is soon to be 19 and lives on her own. The others are 16, 12, 12 & 10 and continue to live at home. No we do not have twins but have a blended family. I would never have believed back in High School at LNE or especially at Uta Halee that I would have been so blessed. I am sad to hear Uta Halee has closed. I feel now (because believe me at age 15 & 16 I hated it) Uta Halee is a big part of who I am today. Were it not for my experience there I can not even imagine where I would be today, but doubt it would have turned out as well. If any one can't quite place me I was the Hippie Chick with the flower on her face, long hair and bells on her ankles. I was friends with Chrissy Woolsey and Theresa Dvorak and Maggie Nall when I lived in Omaha (not to leave anyone out but I can't list everyone). At LNE I was friends with Tim King, Sydney Woodward and Carol Reed (Again to name a few). I went to the State envirothon with Carol, Heather and the others but believe me I was not much of a contribution but I am grateful to have had the experience. "peace, love and don't forget to feed the squirells" was one of my favorite expressions back then. Now one of my favorites I stol...Expand for more
e from Frazz, " Do what you love, love what you do, leave the world a better place and don't pick your nose." My husband and I love to go fishing. I never catch anything to big, sometimes I catch nothing at all, even then we always have a good time together. We like taking the kids swimming, but mostly at the pool not so much the lake. I work as an RN in orthopedic, Med/surg. The best compliment an RN I trained ever gave me was calling me the "repo queen", if any of you work acute ortho you understand the importance of postioning your patient. If you have ever had ortho surgery your REALLY understand the importance of your nurse/aide knowing how to repo. Thanks Andrea at SFMC for training me right! I also work as an RN part-time in a Drug Detox/Psychiatric Crisis center which I really love. I enjoy looking at this site occassionally just to see where everyone is now and how they are doing. I have reconnected through Facebook with some people from LNE, but none from Uta Halee.Though I did run into Tonja from UH at a gas station once and she seems to be well. Sadly I know of at least one girl I was at Uta Halee with was murdered years ago down south and another is in prison :( So I hope to see some positives out there!!! The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Theresa Dvorak, because We lost touch after she had her twins and I would love to see how she and her kids are doing. I really miss her.
