Kurt's Story
Life
It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since high school graduation! Hello to all! What have I been up to? Well, after graduation I had planned on going to an art school in Portland OR, but opt to return to my hometown Racine WI for a year and get reacquainted with my father and family. While there I worked in my uncle's art gallery and worked for an other uncle on one of his farms doing field work and loading and unloading produce trailers. Long hours and tons of fast-paced hard work - the toughest job I ever had, but it was worth it. From there I enlisted in the United States Air Force for a brief stint . Afterwards I returned to C-ville and met my future wife Robin Storbakken (pronounced 'bahken' not 'bacon' - Norwegian decent) from Minnesota. We both got jobs working together for various computer publishing companies. These jobs have taken us to Utah and back. Upon returning once again to C-ville we both took jobs as CSR's working for Macmillan Publish...Expand for more
ing. Robin and I have been very happily married for over ten years and have two wonderful children; Alexandria and Alec. Both are wonderful little artists and my daughter is a consistent honor student who enjoys winning art awards (proud dad)! My son is also an honor student. Robin is working for Pearson Education (corporate office - Indy) as a National Accounts Coordinator. As of now I work at the Courthouse here in C-ville as the county's voter registration official. Its a good job and I have my own office. I don't draw much anymore, but instead use the computer for artistic release (click on the pictures for an example). That and I play bass in a popular local band here in C-ville called 'Shake Well'. Come check us out sometime! To sum it up: I am happy with life, and if I had to do it all over, with all the joys and sorrows, I wouldn't change a single thing! Have a wonderful life, and I look forward to hopefully seeing you all at the 20 year reunion! Peace.
