Kurt's Story
Life
Life after high school has been interesting. I spent a couple of years at the U of O studying Chemistry before moving down to Los Angeles to attend school and prepare for entering UCLA. After a year down there, my father passed away and I moved back up to Oregon. I spent several years as the Business Manager for a local oil company in Eugene that ran Chevron stations, while learning how to fly out at Lane. This is where I met my wife. t Symantec, which is where I have been ever since. I started in Technical Support, but was quickly promoted into management. After about 5 years managing support teams, I moved into Project Management, where I remain today. In 2005, my family and I were relocated to sunny Southern California, where I work out of our Santa Monica office. We actually live in the Mojave Desert where we enjoy sunshine about 360 days a year. My commute to the office is 70 miles each way, but fortunately I work from home the majority of the time.
