Kyla's Story
Life
After high school, I attended the University of Arkansas. I received my B.A. in Communication. I also have a Masters of Arts in Teaching; Secondary Education. I am currently teaching Speech and Drama at George Junior High in Springdale. I am also the Dance Team coach. I taught dance full time for 6 years at Rhythm and Shoes Dance Studio. Having this job provided me the opportunity to meet some awesome people. My most memorable moment in college is getting to dance on stage with Gregory Hines.
My greatest love right now is my son Jameson. It is such an awesome feeling starting a family. He was born on August 10, 2004. He is such a blessing to my family and me.

My latest accomplishment is buying my first house. It is so exciting to finally own a house!!!
My next milestone will be to finish the New York City Marathon in November of 2007. I was picked this year, but I will be deferring to next year so I will have more time to train for it.
School
It seems like I have been in school forever! I finished my B.A. in Communication in 2002. I just received my Master's Degree in Teaching; Secondary Education. I am currently teaching ninth grade Oral Communication and Drama. I am also their Wrangler Dance Team coach. I never thought the day would come that I would want to be a teacher, but I feel that is what I am meant to do! It is such a rewarding job.
