Life
I am currently City Manager in Clute (6 miles from the beach south of Houston), riding my Harley and buying land for investment (and even made some money!!). I left FEMA just before 9/11 where I had spent 10 years in disaster assistance and counter-terrorism. Martha, my wife, is from Little Rock and rides her own motorcycle. I ran for State Rep in 1990, campaigned...Expand for more
for Bush in 2000 in Oregon and Kentucky and in 2004 in Cinncinati, OH. Also enjoy canoeing, backpacking and cruising. (Goal is to walk the AT or PCT or Milford Trek.) I have been to some great places but usually following a disaster-would love to see them in one piece. I always enjoy hearing from friends-and am always surprised. I still have penpals around the world.
