Kym's Story
Life
Since high school, my life has been quite an adventure. I attended West Liberty State College for a couple years. In 1993, I transferred to West Virginia University, where I met my husband Roger Cottrell (from Warwood.) Roger and I graduated from WVU in 1996. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design, and Roger earned his Master of Arts in Geography.
After college, Roger and I wanted to see the country. Some couples might take a vacation, but instead, we moved to seven different...Expand for more
states in ten years. The list is as follows: Weirton, WV; Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX; Aiken, SC; Frankfort, KY; and finally Kernersvile, NC. We were married in 1998. Our oldest son was born in 2000 in Houston and our daughter was born in 2003 while we lived in Aiken. Since 2000, I have resigned my career as interior designer for Chase Bank and Texas Children's
Hospital and begun a new role as at-home, full-time mom. I am so fortunate to be able to spend every day watching them grow.
