Kira's Story
After High School I went to Southern Oregon State College for 4 years. I graduated with a BS in Psychology. I moved to Corvallis, married my college boyfriend, worked with youth in a residential mental health center. Then moved to the Seattle area because my husband got a job at Microsoft. I got a job in an alternative school for youth with dual diagnosis' mental health and behaviora...Expand for more
l problems. I quit that job in January 2003 because of the birth of my daughter and became a stay at home mom. Three years later I had a son and a year after that my husband said he wanted a divorce. I took my kids and moved back to the Portland area. I am currently in graduate school hoping to earn my Masters in School Counseling. after graduation I hope to stay in the Portland area.
