Kevin's Story
OK not that I'm sure anyone would still care after forty plus years but here is the condensed version (one thousand words or less) of my life
After high school I became a firefighter for the United States Forest Service on the Angeles National Forest.
I married my wife Lesley at 21 and 36 years later we're still together. We have three children, two daughters who both live in California and a son who is finally out of college.
At 25 I became a firefighter/paramedic with the Glendale, Ca. Fire Department where I retired from after 30 years of service in 2012 My wife is still a nurse. I also spent several years as a reserve deputy sheriff assigned to the mountain search and rescue team.
Some of my current free time is spent assisting burn survivors a...Expand for more
nd much of Lesley's free time is spent babysitting me. Having family spread all over the country also takes up much of our time, traveling between the east coast, Colorado and Hawaii. We've also been lucky enough to spend some time visiting foreign countries. Since retirement I became a fire lookout and I staff a fire lookout tower on the Angeles National Forest I also work for the Los Angeles Dodgers during baseball season and since it's what your supposed to do in retirement, I spend some time chasing a golf ball around the golf course
We currently reside in Santa Clarita. Ca. and have been here for 30 years.
So there ya have it. My life in less than a thousand words. At least I think it's less than a thousand. You can count 'em if you'd like.
