Lafawn's Story
Joined the AF 1 year after graduation (Jun 1989). Got married (James Thacker) Jan 1990, had twin boys (Garrett and Chase) Sept 1991, got divorced in 1993. Went to LVN school 1995-1996. Remarried (William Price III) in Mar 2000 and had a daughter(Caitlyn) in Dec 2000. Got off of Active Duty Feb 2001 but stayed in the Reserves. Called back to Active Duty in Oct 2001-Aug 2002. d Forks AFB, ND in Jul 2003. Moved to Ramstein AB, Germany in Dec 2005. Lived in Friedelhausen for 9 months then moved to Miesau. Worked at Ramstein Elementary School April 2007-Jun 2008 with Special Needs Preschoolers. Currently enrolled with University of Maryland University College Europe. Working on my prereqs for Nursing school. Planning to attend Macon State College when we move to Robins AFB in June.
