Lana E's Story
Since 1971 my life has been full of excitement, good friends and a bit of adversity. I grauduated Nursing School in 1974 in St. Louis. I lived in Dallas, New Orleans and Memphis before returning to Missouri 20 years later. My nursing career consisted primarily of home care services. I married but have now been divorced for twenty years. Never had kids but had lots of nieces, nephews and now the greats to keep me busy. d. As a result, I retired at the age of forty-four. In 2008 I moved to Arizona where the sun shines and the skies are blue most of the year. The weather is a good match for my physical problems. As a citizen of a retirement community, at fifty-six I am among the youngest of my friends and neighbors. After growing up in The Church of Christ and attending a Baptist college, I am now a "good" Methodist. However, I attend the Episcopal church because it is close to my home. I have an incredibly blessed and happy life.
