Lance's Story
"Remind them who you are" ?
Oh my I dont think I need to remind the class of 1991 who I am lol.
Im sure everyone remembers me as TROUBLE with a capital T.
How ironic the turn of events are in comparission to my life as a teen at Wheeler.
After leaving Wheeler I went on to get a GED and joined the service.
I had a great many jobs open to me in the Army based on my test results but I thought how oposite of me would it be to become a police officer lol.
So thats what I did I became a military police officer and served in the US Army for 14 years .
Oh the places and the things I did.
I served as presidential security at the 1991 West Point Graduation.
I traveled the world to many places and preformed many unique tasks and missions above an beyond my normal tasks a s police officer.
I was married in 1997 had to children , a son age 12 and my daughter age 18.
I served in both the 1991 war with I...Expand for more
raq and also the 2003 war with Iraq. I was wounded in Al Fallujah in 2003 and spent 1 year recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC.
After returning home from the War I obtained a private investigation license and actively performed that role for about a year and a half until I landed my current job as a service & support manager in a technical field.
During my service in the US Army I also served my local community as a volunteer firefighter , and in doing so was sent to ground zero NYC on 9/11 to preform search and rescue operations for five days and five nights.
I have filled my life with 3 lifetimes worth of things and through all the ups downs bads worse and goods I don't think id change much.
Im sure after reading this most of you who knew me well in school will be shocked the course and path I took as opposed to the one im sure you all figured was in store for me lol.
