Larraine's Story
After graduation I got married. That was stupid but I know I did it because I was afraid of being alone and I really didn't know anything about how to get to college. I also know that my parents couldn't help me with any money.
The good thing about my first marriage are my daughter and son. After that marriage I again was scared of being alone with two little children so I again was stupid and remarried. The good thing that came out of that marriage are two stepsons. My second marriage lasted 27 years and ended in divorce.
My children were my life while they were home. I don't see much of any of them now. I wish they knew how much ...Expand for more
I miss them. I have 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
I married Jim Menominee and he passed away just five months into our marriage. Needless to say I have had enough.
I sit and dream about the past in Paradise. They were the best years of my youth. The school was small but the teachers were great. I learned more in my 4 years of high school than I did the first 8 years in the Detroit schools. Does anyone remember our French teacher, Balyion? Not sure if that is spelled correct. She was different. I sometimes feel bad for the way we tormented her.
I see Jon and Suzette sometimes here in the Soo. We all sure look our ages.
