More about Larry:"My family moved to Chico, from Susanville, CA in 1950. I graduated from Chico Sr. High and joined the United States Marine Corps on June 10, 1963, just 3 days out of school. remember the stewardesses all had round eyes. I was honorably discharged from the USMC on June 10, 1967.
I was hired on September 11, (later to be a significant day in our history) 1967, as a Firefighter (we were called Firemen then) for the Chico Fire Department. I was retired out of the CFD on a Medical Discharge on December 31, 1992, after 25 years, as a Battalion Chief.
In 1969 I met my wonderful wife and we were married in July 11, 1970. On April 28, 1972 we had "My Little Girl", Rebecca and on March 20, 1974 my "Hot Dog", Bobby, was born.
We have one granddaughter (16), Bobby and one granddaughter (8) and one grandson (5) from Rebecca and Josh.".
