Larry's Story
Life
When I left school I worked on cars for a living and got into drag racing with my brother. We had some fast cars.I moved my family to Florida. I had gotten into laying carpet,so I opened my own store in Fla. Nancy worked in the store. By this time we had 6 kids,4 boys and 2 girls. Later I got out of the store ,but I still layed carpet. I then got into a business putting "River-rock" around swimming pools.It was a good business. My boys were in sports and did good. uite successful. 3 got scholarships,we traveled a lot we them.By this time we only had the 2 girls.We decided to move north and buy a small farm.23 years ago. We chose NW Tennessee near the Ky line. We love it here and now I am retired,but am busy all the time. We now have 18 grand children and 6 great grand children. Nancy and I are interested in old cars. Classics. We have a 36 Ford hot rod and a 65 Chevy SS and like going to car shows. We are right in the process of re-painting the 36 Ford. Hopefully to be finished by summer.
