me in Dec. of 1961 so that I could report to the new Manned Space Center which didn't officially open until after the first of Jan. 1962 and we got here on Jan. the 3rd. I worked at what is now Johnson Space Center 32 years until June of 1994 when I retired. Went back a year later as a part time consultant to Boeing Co. working on the Russian/ Us joint miror program and then the International Space Station ISS for a total of 15 years. My wife was my girl friend from bible camp at Lake Poinset when she was 16. My career at NASA was one of a life time and I could take no credit except to say that it was a wonderful opportunity and I was there at the right time. Sherry and I had three sons and they got married and we have 9 gdrand children. The love o my life died in January 2015 after nearly 58 years of marriage. Thank God for a great life of Blessings by our Lord. .
