Our York Class of '59 Fifty-Five-Year Reunion is being planned for the weekend of Oct. 10-12, 2014, at the Hyatt Lodge in OakBrook, IL. Hope to see you there! Larry and I have been married for over 50 years. We moved to California in1962 and have lived here ever since. While our two sons were in school, I did a lot of volunteer work, spending more time at their schools than at home! Among other things, I was PTA room mother, classroom aide, school library aide, field trip chaperone, Band Booster, chaperone on the band's trip to Mexico City, Grad Nite committee member, and I served on three school site councils and on the District Advisory Council. My current interests are art (drawing, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, monotype printmaking, intaglio printmaking, and relief printmaking) and genealogy (family history research). I have taught genealogy to beginners, and I'm on the Board of the Czech Area Genealogy Club. I've been to Bohemia in the Czech Republic (my ancestral homeland) 5 times...Expand for more
