Larry's Story
Life
I now have five grandchildren. I'm teaching them the finer points of enjoying hobbies such as hot rods and motorcycles. I don't have my 1963 Nova from high school, but it has been replaced with my 2017 Grand Sport Corvette, 2004 coupe and a couple Harleys. We recently added a 66 BSA 650, 68 BSA 650 and a 66 Triumph 650 to the ever growing fleet I can still smoke the tires and my grandchildren love it.
I miss the mountains, but I'm now enjoying the warm climate in Texas by family. 2019 was a rough year because I lost my wife Cathy after 44 years when she succumbed to her 13 year battl...Expand for more
e with cancer. Work is still keeping me very busy which helps keep my mind off of the changes, and I stay close to home in Houston on business.
My daughter and her family live there, and my youngest son and his family sold their home in Castle Rock (CO) and just bought a home in Katy as well, only a couple miles from my daughter. My oldest son lives with me here in Katy as well, but with everyone else in Katy, we decided that it was time for a change so that the whole family can be near each other again. We are now moved in and at least it will be a little closer to Colorado.
