Larry's Story
Life
Retired from the USAF as a Master Sergeant in 2003. I am currently working for the United States Air Force in the civil service. My new home is located in Panama City, Florida. I work in Education Services and help military personnel pursue off-duty education. I've been married 25 years (Spouse is Jane) and have one son (Zachary, 23) and one daughter (Jessica, 18). The USAF and life have been good to me! I give all praise to Christ Jesus! Email is welcome!
School
I did not do well in high school; I barely graduated! The one thing I remember most is not being encouraged. Educators have to be real careful not to discourage a child/teen. I had a lot of fun, unfortunately having fun cost me a lot of time. When I went to college I had to take several developmental courses in order to complete colleg...Expand for more
e level work. I did enjoy being in the choir and taking vocational cooking classes.
College
College was a lot of work, but also a lot of time. While I did poorly in high school, I graduated with honors in both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I give credit to Jesus Christ and the support of my family!
Workplace
I am the Education Services Officer at Tyndall Air Force Base Florida. My job is to lead our team as we assist and advise military personnel regarding off-duty education programs.
Military
I retired as a Master Sergeant from the USAF in 2003. I had a great career but was ready to transition back to civilian life. I thank the USAF for helping to make me the man I am today. I would not have had the educational or travel (lived in Italy, South Korea, and Japan) opportunities without the USAF.
