Larry's Story
My wife's father-in-law passed in June of 2012 after 91 years and one day. We moved to Idaho where we had bought a home earlier. The lathe and scrollsaw came with us and is back in use again. We now are exploring our new home area. It is beautiful and rugged at the same time.
My second wife and I moved from Maryland to Washington in fall 2007. We have both now retired and are caring for her elderly father. We have five children and six grandchildren. Three and five are mostly mine from my first marriage. The younger two and one are inherited from my current bride.

hen Continental was the victim of an unfriendly takeover we moved to Maryland to work for a smaller company, ARINC. My first wife died in 1994. I remarried a wonderful lady that used to be my next door neighbor and inherited two young daughters. I retired in 2005 after 22 years at my last job.
We like to travel and see the lovely countryside in the Pacific Northwest. We also travel to see family in Missouri and Maryland. When I am home I am active on Epinions where I write reviews as gamblin_man and am a Category Lead for the Home and Garden section there.
To fill the time gaps I traded an extensive woodworking shop in, when we moved, for a scroll saw and am learning to make things with it now. I have made mostly toys and puzzles for the grandchildren so far. I then purchased a midi-lathe using some of my Epinions earnings and have fun making wooden pens with it..
