Larry's Story
Life
When I graduated from Laurel County, I moved to Louisville to attend RETS Electronics Institute. I graduated in 1976 and moved to Simpsonville SC to work for the Michelin Tire Corporation as an electronic technician. I spent 39 years there in some form of electronics, computer, or maintenance field and retired in 2015.
I was married in 1976, adopted a baby girl, Krissa, in 1980 and divorced in 1985. I remarried in 1987 and my wife Carolyn and I have three sons. Chris came with her as a package deal. He was 10 years old at the time. Colt was born ...Expand for more

Since then, my life has pretty much revolved around my family. Everyone is grown now and on their own. Carolyn and I are empty nesters. We have several dogs and a small camper that we enjoy, When the boys were young, we were very active in Boy Scouts for several years, camping and hiking all over the southeast. As the kid's have grown up, I've continued to backpack and kayak in the mountains, rivers and lakes of SC and NC.
