Larry's Story
Life
Stephanie and I live in Tacoma where I've practised law since 1971. I have a daughter, Kim, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Stephanie has a son, Jim (whose wife is also a Kimberly) and a daughter, Tiffany and 4 grandchildren. Kim lives in Texas (Kim has since moved to New Jersey with her husband Gil and two of the children who are still in school) , Jim in University Place, WA and Tiffany lives in Des Moines (near Salt Water St. Park) My brother, Don (class of '63) and his wife Jo, live near Gig Harbor, WA.
We love to travel. We started on our honeymoon with a trip to Italy, and have so far spent a week or more in London, Spain, Paris, Fiji, Beiging, Austrailia, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Mexico, Tahiti and Belize, Costa Rico. and Thailand and while I will admit nothing, we might have spent time in Cuba. We have also taken probably 20 cruises. Just a note to say we just got back from two weeks in the Republic of South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. (Since the So Africa trip we went to Barcelona, took a cruise around Italy and up the Ionian sea to Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and then spent four days in Prague. That was in 2015 and this year we went to Copper Canyon, located in Mexico and is about 4 times the size of the Grand Canyon and we just got back from two weeks in Rarotonga in the Cook Islands, a territory of New Zealand which we visited in 2013)
We are avid theater goers, both live and movies. After High School I spent 3 yrs in the Army before returning to college and then to law school, settling in Tacoma in 1971.
We bought a second home in Ocean Shores to run away to and hide if we wanted but decided to sell it in 2011. I was surprised to find that s...Expand for more

I have practiced law in Tacoma since 1971 and intend to continue full time until 2021 when I will have passed 50 years.. I opened my own office in January of 2012, after having been at my old location for 19 years. Give me a call if you come to town and we can get together.
Well, a little update. Since the Cook Islands we went to Israel and Jordan. When we got back I started getting ready for a knee replacement and that has altered our travels considerably. No more climbing so no Machu Pichu, no Giza and no more tours. The Pandemic hasn't helped either.
I officially retired in early 2022. Had to wait until I finished one of my granddaughter's divorce due to the waiting period in Washington. So now I have joined my brother in retirement and am just relaxing, trying to figure out what's next.
I told most folks that George Pease passed away last year. He was such a great friend and person and I really miss him. I guess it happens to all of us but it doesn't ease the pain.
Oh well, keep reading and I hope to have more updates over the next several years.
Time for an update. I retired in April of 22 after a little over 50 years. It was time and met my decision from when I chose to be a lawyer (7th grade). My daughter still lives in New Jersey and my ex-wife (and Kim's mother) has moved there as well. Stephanie's daughter, Tiffany, unfortunately passed away in September of 22 from cancer. No way am I ready for these things. She was only in her mid 50's.
We're getting ready to start traveling again soon. Other countries are opening up, I have plenty of time and it's been almost 3 years. So we shall see.
