Larry's Story
Life
After graduating from Ganado High, I attended Navajo Community College for two years. I then went to work for St. Michaels Association for Special Education, Inc. and have been here since. 25 years of hard work. I have been employed here as a teaching assistant, teacher, bus driver, social worker, group home manager, counselor, Adpative Physical Education Teacher and Special Olympic Coach. I've travel global wide working with mentally and physically challenged individuals. I've been in several films and met many celebreties. I enjoy my job.
Jovita, my wife, we've been married for 24 years. We have 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. We currently enjoy 2 grandkids.
I left Payson High School after my Sophomore year but, continued to stay in touch with many of my friends from there. I ...Expand for more
always felt like I was always a missing link from that graduation class. Weird. I had many, many friends and lost contact with most of them. I e-mail with Sam Bellows, talk with Phil Spainhower occasional. I hope to hear from others real soon. Attending Payson High School moled me to be
active, outspoken, friendly and very out going. I continued to be the nice guy when I return to the rez.
I had many, many friends at Ganado also. Occasional I'll run into someone and we talk for hours updating ourselves about town gossips. A few years ago, I was at a training in Mesa and met Bobby Klaeson there. He works at Mesa Community College at the Athletic Director. It was great to see and talk with him. I would like to hear from you also. I have time to kill playing with this internet stuff.
