of my life working for the 'Telephone Company' (Southern Bell/BellSouth/AT&T) in various positions. But I'm ready to let that go and retire soon if the economy ever straightens-up-and-flies-right. I spent a couple of years teaching at Griffin Technical College (now Southern Regional College), which was a good experience.
I raised four daughters who have provided me with six grandchildren (who I still don't get to spend enough time with - but that's primarily my fault). I love to piddle in the yard in nice weather; work on genealogy research with my Ancestry.com Family Tree Maker; read about whatever has currently caught my curiosity; play Scrabble with my wife Sheila (who usually wins); visit old historic places (St. Augustine/Charleston/Winston-Salem/etc.); and sit on my deck with a glass of merlot and watch the world unwind.".
