College Following High School, I earned an Associates in Applied Science degree from Jamestown Community College. This was "the best of times, and it was the worst of times." It was the best because I met a lot of great people during those two years and had a lot of fun partying, etc. It was the worst of times because of all of the partying, particularly my second year, which had a pretty big impact on my grades. But...I did graduate when expected, and have some of my fondest memories of my life from those days. If I could do it all over again, I probably would only change my attitude towards my studies, and spend more time on them. i wouldn't change the friends and partying for anything though! Workplace Following college (JCC), I worked for a short while as a software developer for a small software company in Lakewood called Genesis II. It went belly-up almost exactly one year after I was laid off from that job. That was probably the best thing that could ever have happened to me though. Since there weren't many computer jobs in Jamestown at the time (or even now?), I was forced to look elsewhere for a job. I ended up in Buffalo, where I worked for seven years at a large computer contracting firm called Computer Task Group (CTG). Actually, I only really spent my last year doing software contracting there. The rest of the time I worked for a branch that converted other company's computer software from one computer language to another, and/or one database system to another.
