Larry Kalb:  

Larry is from Brick Township, New Jersey. He is single . Larry's education includes Howell High School {Class of 1977}; Glassboro State College ( B.A. in Communications: Journalism & Public Relations): Montclair State College {M..A. in Speech & Theatre- Public, Media Arts). While completing his Graduate Studies, Larry began his professional Public Relations career with the country's largest Boy Scout Council- -Greater New York Councils, BSA. After 25 months in NYC, he was promoted. and transferred to the wilderness of West Jersey as an Exploring Executive with the George Washington Council, BSA, for 19 months. On August 1, 1987, Larry Kalb retuned to his beloved "JERSEY SHORE ROOTS" as a District Scout Executive with the Ocean Council, BSA, the same Scout Council he earned Eagle Scout rank in 1977. Larry served a territory that included Southern Ocean County from Lacey Township (GSP Exit 74) south through Southeastern Burlington County (GSP Exit 50) in Bass River Township westward through Washington Township, including Batsto State Park, to the end of Burlington County's landscape at the Atlantic County border. Also, my territory included the entire 18-mile land/ocean/bay territory of Long Beach Island {GSP Exit 63-Manahawkin} in Ocean County. My Professional Boy Scouts of America ended in March 1992, just prior to the Scout Council's merger with Atlantic Area Council. The newly merged Scout Council was re-named Jersey Shore Council, BSA. I began my third career in June of 1993 as a Civil Servant as a Case Worker with the Ocean County Board of Social Services at its Northern Ocean Human Resources Building located on Fourth Street in Lakewood across from the Police Station.
