Larry's Story
Life
Hello Friends! After graduation from Bishop Timon High School I attended Canisius College. During my time at Canisius I joined the Army Reserves where I was a member of the 365th Medical Evacuation Hospital Niagara Falls, New York. My Military Occupational Specialy was Surgical Tech. At Canisius I was a member of the footbal team. My career there was extended due to a redshirt year and medical hardship. However, in my final year of participatrion I was Defensive Captain and was selected First Team ALL METRO ATLANTIC ATHLETIC CONFERENCE for DEFENSIVE LINE. In my last season I had 102 total tackles, 65 of which were unassisted breaking Tom Doctor's record for unassited tackles in a single season of 64 tackles while he was a former linebacker at Canisius College. hile the battle to get football out of my system was difficult I decided to be a different kind of "bone crusher." I decided to give something back to the profession that helped to put me back together; Chiropractic. I am happy to say that I never thought that I would be as passionate about doing anything in my life other than football as a career! However, I can honestly say that being a Chiropractor has been the most rewarding thing that I have ever done! Don't get me wrong I would still love to knock the snot out of some undeserving quarterback or runningback...but the the challenges and victories that come my way nowadays are very satisfying to say the least. I currently practice in Glen Allen, Virginia, however my heart has never left Buffalo, New York. Hopefully I'll be back there soon to get reaquainted, hang my shingle and help to make sick people well from the hometown. That dream of being a hometown hero can be lived out in the forseeable future. God Bless. "Fortes In Fide" ("strong in faith" Latin)
