k on internet & finding Classmates in Nov03 and Missing GP High`s 25th Reunion by only weeks,What a Disappointment. but ive been touching base with old friends on Classmates. What a Blast! Since 1980-83 & up, Larry had many multi Auto repair business Locations= about 30+ yrs Experience Now! and for 20+yrs seriously racing dirt motorcycles= motocross,cross country,Super Cross, indoor areana cross, flatrack, T.T. and some GP roadracing. Ive always loved Motocross racing! In 1995-2000 Our whole family Volunteered and ran the Ft Worth Cowtown BMX Track=American Bicycle Assoc. Track for 4-5 yrs a non-profit org. that was going to shut down. This was for kids to have a place to have fun. This was giving something back to society! It was an Awesome & memorable experience for sure! Sometimes it only fells like it was a Dream though! Was a Very Hard Job to do for No Pay ! Lynda was Treasurer - Secretary & Sign Ins & Concessions buyer, ( Larry was Track Operator-President of the parents assoc. & for 2+ years Also traveled building ABA BMX tracks all over USA by himself & Also traveling for indoor collisium Motocross tracks for Pace Motor Sports, ( Lynda & Brent ran the track w Volunteers while Larry ws out of town ! (end of 99-2000 Larry`s mother past away) and we also lost $20K from building our own BMX track and Larry had tore his ACL/knee from racing All in the same time of end of 2000 ) in Nov 05 Dislocated my left hip & had Surgery! Finally retired from all that, i may get back into a little cross country racing someday ? Maybe in fall of 08 ?? may not have the time, Boss has been in the hospital for over 10 mths & im running his business so its a little hard the have the time to do anything else ! Slowing down to smell the Roses Now? i guess , or just getting older? or maybe finally growing up?? Finally have time to do things i didnt do. Finally made it to my 1st Arl Sam Houston 79 Reunion this 6-5-04 little disap though, didnt know many people though, but really was good to see the ones i did know! and forgot about, 6-30-05 -------------------------------------------------------- 2001 We now live in Midlothian Tx out in the country,moved from Southeast Arlington since 1990. & was in Central Arlington for 10 yrs before that ! Larry moved from GPHigh School at the end of 10th grade 1976, to Arl till 2001. Also my sister Robin, a friend Patricia Ramey lost there Life in car accident July1979 and mom made it! that was the hardest thing to ever experience! Mom Past away in Jan1,2000 But Hey, IF? anybody remembers me from school days, thank goodness im not 5'2" like i was in high school, Finally made it to 5`10.5" , hey im taller than some that were taller than me, What a Lucky Dog i Am ! Hey, give me a call,love to hear from you! Ive had a great life, been so very blessed . Please, Don`t Be Shy, really miss my old friends. not many around like the good ol days! Especially Cooper Street Gang in Arlington hang out days, now that was fun, even met my wife there also at the car wash about a yr or more before we got together. Life is just too short! Remember Grand Prairie,downtown Don Juan's Mexican restaurant, its still good,my 1st real job for couple of yrs when i was 15 & 16,besides being a paper boy : Thanks to you All ! Well Ive lost a lot of friends from passing away, life is getting kinda short! luv yall All !
