Greetings, I was raised in Skokie, Ill., and went to school and worked on both coasts. I graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and the Florida School of Natural Healing. work Chiropractic Attunement & Communications Certification (Module A & C) for healing facilitators program (1993) by Donald Epstein, DC.; NCBTMB Certification 1994; 1995 Counseling for Bodyworkers with Bruce Burger MA, RPP at Heartwood Institute in Garberville, CA; Certified in Rebirthing and Transformational Breathing by The School of Spiritual Psychology in Milwaukee, WI (Jim Morningstar, Ph.D., ABPP); 1996 Hakomi of Minnesota/Hakomi Integrative Somatics Training; 1997 City of St. Louis Park Massage Therapist License-500; Orthopedic Massage Training with Thomas Hendrickson, D.C. at Heartwood Massage School in 1997; 2001 Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Training on the Big Island; Northwestern Health Sciences University, Continuing Education in Chinese Massage (Tui Na); Myofascial Release, Unwinding, and Rebound with John Barnes, PT.; Medical Massage Training for back pain with Leon Chaitow, ND, DO, MRO; and Orthopedic Massage with Robert King, Thomas Myers, and James Waslaski; 2007 Orthopedic Assessment Skills with Whitney Lowe; 2009 Institute For Integrative Healthcare Studies in "Pharmacology For Massage;" 2011 Institute For Integrative Healthcare Studies in "Psychoneuroimmunology for Bodywork;" 2012 Institute For Integrative Healthcare Studies in "Tibetan Massage and Relaxation" and "Stress Reduction Through Bodywork;" and, a member of the Himalayan Institute. Presently, I'm an inward traveler who loves walking and outdoor activities all year round. I have lived here in the Minneapolis area for 34 years. I'm non-religious, but mindful with a sitting meditation and yoga practice. I was raised Jewish in Skokie, yet consider myself more of a free thinker to be inclusive of all religions. My belief systems follow the middle path. I am a conversationalist, open-minded, and well-traveled with no children. My favorite music is Celtic from the likes of Maire (Clannad) and Moya Brennan; and from the Buddha-Bar Lounge series (World music-infused electronica), especially when I'm doing yoga. Watching or going to sporting events is not my thing. The theater, politics, and arts are more to my liking. I have been a yoga teacher, healing arts practitioner, personal trainer, and massage therapist. Now, retired and living in Scottsdale, AZ with Wendy.
