Larry's Story
Retired in 2003 as Manufacturing Engineering Instructor at Boeing.
Called back as Manufacturing Engineer in 2008, 2009, 2010 spring, summer and fall months to Flight Test Boeing.
Am currently, 10/28/2011 called back to Manufacturing Engineering Instructor at Southpark.
I snow bird it to Mesa Az. during the winter months where my wife and I have a place in Roadhaven, seniors resort.
Sold out in 2019 in Az. Will not be going anymore. 10/ 4/2018. I'm now 80 of course as of last April. Have had 3 way bypass, and aorta valve replacement in 2013. Am Diabetic, and I have had (4) TIA' s (minor strokes) in the last two and a half years. Life ain't like it was when we were oh so young. excellent health. It has been my good fortune to know my all my Duwamish and Foster classmates. 2-28-23. Nineteen days away from 84. Doing just ok. Walking is a chore but make it ok. I've had a rough winter with the Diabetes, but my (2) daughters have helped me through it. Feels like time to leave is waiting just around the corner at times but I, still have things to do, my two dogs need my love and I'll try and be there for them my wife, my two great daughters, my brother and my friends.
