Larry's Story
Life
We are 33 years old now, and only getting older. Time sure flies! 16 years since graduating highschool, and what have I done. Well I attended college at Bemidji State for a few years then decided to join the army. I have lived in Washington, Korea, Texas and back to Minnesota as a recruiter for the army. Currently I live in Texas and I am no longer in the Army. I am self employed in the automotive marketing business. I am happily married with 2 children- Larry III age 8 and Savannah Sun age 5. Been married to my wife Linda for 8 years and all is good. Seems the older we get the least exciting things get. Just happy to a Husband and father living a comfortable life. oved the miltary- 11 Years- 1995-2006. The Army did change during my 11 years, so I had to call it quits. I held many postions and were stationed in a few places. Some very memorable times with the C Co. 3/9 Inf, later 1/24 Inf. Work hard and party harder in places like Club North, Tacoma, Seattle, Panama. I had great times with Wheeler, Rod, Winchell, Roundtree, and so many more. I guess my partying declined as I got older. Went to Korea and had a great time with the 503rd Inf, then went to PATRIOT land in El Paso. The desert was not to bad- South West Asia nor El Paso. The I becam a recruiter in 2003- in Brainerd, MN. The toughest job I ever did- but met alot of great people and recruited some great people to make us proud. 3 years recruiting and had to change my career.
