Lars's Story
Life
In August 1996 I got married to Stacy Lunbeck. We had our first daughter in May 1999 and our second daughter in Nov 2000. We bought our first house in March 2003 in Kansas City Missouri. We are currently adopting a little girl from Guatemala.
College
Currently I am working on my BS in Computer Information Systems at Park University. I have a little over a year to go.
Workplace
I work at Liberty Hospital in the IT department. I am one of 3 Network Administrators. Great job and plan to be here for a while. Before coming here I worked at Sprint, didn't like it very much and then 9/11 happened and they used that to layoff thousands, including me. It turned out for the better. Military
I entered the Air Force November 13th 1996 (actually enlistment date was July 11, 1996). I spent the next 6.5 weeks in Boot Camp during Thanksgiving and Christmas. It sucked. But was cool at the same time. Then it was off to Tech School in Biloxi Mississippi. Stacy was able to join me down there, but I had to live in the dorms for 4 months and she lived off base. I graduated from Tech School in July 1997 and then moved to Offutt AFB, NE. My first job there was maintenance in the Command Center for Stratcom, but then the contractors took it over and I got moved to the BNCC (Base Network Control Center). That is really what helped me on my current career path in computers.
