Laura's Story
Hi to anybody who's checking :) High school seems like a lifetime ago! I graduated in January of 1975 and started at ISU three days later. After changing my major for the 5th time in a year and a half I decided I wasn't ready for college and moved to Springfield, IL and got a job. I lived there a couple of years and figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up - fix computers. So, I moved back to C-ville, went to tech school in St. Louis, got my Certificate and moved to Chicago-land. I worked for United Airlines for years so I got to travel ...Expand for more
alot and do some great scuba diving. I sewed alot of wild oats before I settled down but I won't publish those details!
Got married when I was 28, that turned out badly down the road, but I got three great kids out of the deal. I changed careers when the kids were small (Admin Assistant) and did the whole soccer mom thing. Two of my kids are in college now, the other is a junior in HS. How time flies!
Got rid of the husband a few years ago, downsized the house and bought a Crossfire. Life is good!!
