Where do I start? Let's start with I left Cole Harbour High the summer of 1992 and therefore spent my grade twelve year at Lucas Secondary School in London On. After that I went to the University of South Western Ontario (UWO) where I earned two degrees: 1999 Bachalor of Engineering Science (Mechanical) and 2000 Bachalor of Computer Science.
During this time in an effort to not have to pay student loans for the rest of my life, I joined the reserves. On the day of my 21st birthday was my first day of basic training in the armour corp, I wanted to drive tanks. THe following year, after some pushing on my parents part I switched to the Navy and went MARS officer (now I get to command ships).
After I graduated from University (the second time) I didn't feel like getting a real job, so I took a long term contract with the Navy and was posted to Victoria BC ...Expand for more
for a year where I served on the HMCS Saskatoon as the Deck/Weapons Officer. As luck would have it I ended that contract and went back home to Ontario on 30Aug 2001. as we all know eleven days later, New York was attacked. Talk about timing for getting out of the military. I still work as a part time reservist at my unit HMCS Star (Hamilton On)
The following Febuary, I started with a company in Oakville, ON called Zenon Environmental as a Field Service Engineer and have been literially sent all over the world installing water treatment plants. I have worked in Brazil, on cruiseships, Hawaii, the Canary Islands, etc, even spent three months in Afghanistan.
