Laura's Story
After graduating in '85 I went to work in a dental office. I worked there for 3 years and met my husband that way. He was currently attending Lakeland and I took some classes there as well. We married in 1988 and moved to Kent where we both went to school. Rob had 1 year left, and I had 3 left. When he graduated from Kent, we decided to move south where he would work and I would finish my degree. Before I completed my first year at the USC, I found out we were expecting our first child. Tyler was born in 91, I took a year off, then went back to school. I graduated in Dec. of '93 and was about 4 months pregnant with #2. He came in August '94. My daughter came 18 months later and 3 years after her came our last son.
I have been a housewife and mom for the past 17 years and have LOVED it!! My kids are my life! Celebrated my 20th anniversary this past July and though it's been a roller coaster ride, I wouldn't have it any other way!
