Laura's Story
Life
After graduating from college I went to Japan to teach English. I then ended up back in Glendora and became an elmentary school teacher, and married Don in 1992. We have 2 boys, Nicholas, who is now 10, and Peter, who is 6. My boys keep me extremely busy, and I am still teaching. I have a job-share now (3rd grade) and life is good. College
I went straight from GHS to Occidental College in Eagle Rock. It's a pretty small school. It was very different from Glendora, though---I was exposed to lots of new ideas and ways of life. I spent my junior year studying in Germany. I graduated in '89 with a combined major of German and Lingustics.
