Laura's Story
Hmm, I'm not sure how people remember me. But I am quite sure they wouldn't believe some of the things that I have done.
Besides getting married and having two kids, I am a part time computer geek, mother and wife. I have been to Auckland New Zealand for the America's Cup race and to Paris and Provence. And those who knew me from French class would hardly believe that my older sister Sheila and I had the most fluent French in a group of 13 for dinner one night. My other favorite spot to vacation is Key West Florida.
My parents retired shortly before I graduated from Akron U and then moved after I took my first job in St. Louis, Missouri. They had a very happy retirement before their deaths in 2003 and 2004. I still miss them terribly.

high school here in Columbus, Indiana. He also earned his Eagle Award in Scouting. My youngest son is on his way.
I currently am employed by the local school system as the data administrator for our Adult Education Program. I have often considered going back to school to get a education certificate/license.
My husband and I were married on October 17, 1987 and it still seems like yesterday. He is not only my spouse but my best friend as well.
We are both members of our local Emmaus Community and are very active in our church.
In some ways I miss living in Akron and running into old neighbors and classmates.
Update 6/2/2020 - Since I registered I have divorced and am working full time as a Database Administrator. Both of my sons are grown young men and life is good.
