Laura's Story
Life
Hello class of 1996! I can't believe it's already been almost 10 years! I have lost touch with almost everyone now that my parents have left Michigan, but here's a little update on me.
I attended Brigham Young University in Provo Utah and graduated Suma Cum Laude in 2000 with a Bachelors in Marriage, Family, and Human Development with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also trained to be a professional mediator as part of that degree. After graduating, I worked for BYU as a Hall Advisor in their Residence Life Department until April of 2004 when my 3rd child was born. I have since been a stay-at-home mom with a side business in consulting, but my true passion is my kids!

We are living in Spanish Fork, Utah in a house that my husband built by himself in one summer. To some of you that may seem like a piece of cake, but you'd have to know my husband. He's a psychologist for the school district here in Spanish Fork, but even with a master's degree, I have to admit that I was a little skeptical that he could build a house on his own since he had never even built a birdhouse before. :) But, we love our home and he continues to amaze me with all of his talents.
It's funny how these last 10 years have flown by--I can't believe I am that "OLD" now! It seems like just yesterday we were still in high school with relatively little cares in the world. I'd love to hear updates on you guys.
