In 2004 I moved to Mexico, along with my wonderful son, where our pueblo lifestyle includes fiestas, festivals, dances & rodeos...as well as a sunny, spring-like climate. Although life here is "muy rustico," it has many pleasant amenities, such as the town hot springs, where we can go swimming year-round. I buy fresh bread, meat and fruit in the little shops or open-air markets of the former hacienda, but I also like to go into town (a colonial city, established in 1644, in the highlands of the state) to enjoy ice cream with my son in the central garden, where we can take in the beautiful Spanish architecture or visit the nearby Internet cafes and roaring river park. Over the years, work for me has included my writing, my volunteer time, my teaching and tutoring. I am accredited to teach English as a Foreign Language and have tutored EFL students since 1996.
