Laura's Story

Life Well, life as it is now. Have to update this, a lot of things were outdated. So, I'm in the accounting department at work, still in school part-time, although I'd like to make some time to start writing a novel. I'm thinking young adult fiction, fantasy. Hmm, oh we've had our maltese puppy since March 2007, and she's Satan's spawn! And ironically, her name is Sateen. (very close...) hee hee. I've recovered from two foot surgeries and ran a 5K in June. I don't exercise enough but maybe one day. Oh and my maternal clock is starting to go off...babies may be in my future! But as for now, life is good. School Well, high school was very interesting. I'm just not sure why I took it so seriously. Especially the boyfriends! I wish I could have stayed connected to the guys and clams, but I'm not good at keeping in touch. That...Expand for more
phone is just so heavy! But all-in-all, it was fun. I should have studied more. :) College Okay so college park...I have a love/hate relationship with College Park. I loved it because it was such a cool college. So many classes, so many buildings, such a nice walk to each class (or run, if I had to be on the opposite side of the campus in 10 minutes), and the math professors were great. But...I hated the commute after a while, and I hated that I had no friends because I was a commuter. Maybe other commuters had friends, but I didn't. Except Jim. That was good. But in the end, the major just wasn't for me. So now I'm doing the online thing to try and finish my degree, only this time in finance & accounting. So far it's okay. Getting a little tough, but it's all new to me. We'll see how it goes. More updates as they come.
