It is the one promise life always fulfils. Thus happiness is a gift and the trick is not to expect in it but to delight in it when it comes and to add to other people’s store of it.” –Charles Dickens “They came to see that family need not be defined merely as those with whom share blood but as those for whom they would give their blood. “-Charles Dickens". More about Laura:""I knew a man who had four eyes.He claimed to be so very wise [...]He saw ahead, he saw behind- this he said improved his mind. His claims I don't mean to deride but the bus that hit him came from the side." - Koontz ...In other words, often we think we have a handle on our life, and we're in control. Then ... well as the poem says, "the bus that hit him came from the side." I think of this rhyme often when I try and take too much control over something that was really never mine to begin with, my life. Family: I have one brother who is 7 1/2 years older and father and mother whom I love dearly. I come from a large, close country family. Family means the world to me. I'd do anything for them. Friends: I take friendship pretty serious. Anyone whom I consider any kind of friend will have my love, support and help any time they ask for it. Me: Teaching is my calling. I consider it a spiritual gift not to be taken for granted. I started my first year of teaching in 2011. I have been given an awesome opportunity and responsibility to influence future generations and consider myself truly blessed. I love teaching and plan on doing it for the rest of my life in some capacity or another.".
