Laura's Story
Life
I live in the Pacifica area and I have a daughter, Charlotte (1986), who attended Capuchino High School. I finally went and finished my college degrees about ten years later than I should have (ended up finance and accounting instead of engineering), and I'm a CPA working on investment partnership tax issues in the City. My significant other, Joseph, and I became foster parents in 2002 and we had a son, Michael, who went to Oceana. We now have two girls in middle school and high school. Have had a very interesting life.

College
After high school I went straight to UC Berkeley, where I managed to botch up every aspect of my life. I dropped out a few years into it, and after about ten years I went back to school, at SF State. I had a blast at State, maybe it was just because I was older, but I was much more focused. I got degrees in Accounting and Finance and and minor in Computer Science and actually found a job where I get to use all of that. Eventually got my Master's at GGU. Became a part-time instructor at SFSU in 2004, so I continue to spend time in college.
