I've been happily married for 10 years to a 1991 graduate from Sun Prairie. I have two lovely daughters, one is 9 years old and the other is 2 years old. In 1999 I received my Masters in Communicative Disorders and Education. I am now a Speech-Language Pathologist (type of special education teacher) in an area elementary school. workdays are spent working with upper elementary kids (grades 3-5) and the rest of my work time is spent in Early Childhood (ages 4-5 years.) I love my job. It's often hard and the children are becoming more challenging all the time, but I care very deeply about them. I try to team-teach in the classroom as much as possible. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my extended family, kayaking, yoga, and reading. I teach confimation class to 8th grade boys at my church. Over the past summer, Jim and I spent our 10 year wedding anniversery in Bejing, China. It was incredible! (Can't say I was that fond of the really long plane flight though.)
