Laura's Story
I have lived in Florida for the last 22 years and just recently moved to Beckley, WV. Big cultural change!
I have two daughters - Tylor, 14 and Ashley, 21. I have two grandsons ages 1 & 2. They are great. And I have two step sons ages 24 & 21.
I am trying to adjust to the winter weather, I am used to 70 to 80 degree weather in December and higher the rest of the year. Also driving on these roads again.

. Lucie County Sheriff's Department. I am now working at Beckley Police Department as a Crime Scene Investigator, Evidence Technician and I have worked in the Records Division for them also. Other than missing my work in Vero and my friends I have enjoyed being up here. The crime is alot less and the pace alot slower. SOme things take getting used to - I have a boat but to use it we have to drive 45 mins to an hour. We have 2 four wheelers and I do like riding them. We had a boat and wave runners in Florida. Other than that there is not much to tell.
